Best bet when grabbing current gaming laptop?

So trying to get together options for a Win / Mac hackintosh build where compatability is strong. One thing that is very tempting are laptops with the 2080 Max-Q Nvidia graphics. However, there doesn't seem to be way too much info in relation to newer laptops. I already have a RTX 570 eGPU, so having to turn off the nvidia GPU with edits is expected and fine... Maybe if the mysterious Mac Pro offers RTX options drivers will finally be released.
